Hello,
Apartment size is a very important factor, meaning it should be able to contain people who would live inside it (metersquare calculation). Secondly, since the price of apartment varies according to locations, the price factor will only result in getting to know if you still have enough money to support yourself and your family after paying the apartment rent. The general rule is to be able to support the person you are bringing to Germany in any case at the beginning.
