Hi Members,
I am confused between German long term Employment visa and Blue card visa. What is the difference between two because i see some people applying for employement visa and some for Blue card visa ? Some places i read, that if you have German employer contract you need to apply for Employment visa, reach Germany and then later apply for Blue card visa. I have German employer contract so which one should i apply for from India ? Request your valuable advice.

Blue Card is a sophasticated form of Employement Visa...If you fulfil the below requirements you can apply for Blue Card Entry Visa (which is still Employement Visa and the application forms are all same)

Requirements:

1. The applicant is holder of a foreign higher education qualification comparable to a German degree.
2. Gross annual earnings of at least 52,000 euros (2018)
3. Gross annual earnings of at least 40,560 euros (2018) in professions with a shortage of qualified personnel applicants (e.g. doctors, engineers, natural scientists, mathematicians, and IT-specialists)
