Hi Friends,

I wish to know if my wife can get Muttergeld even if we plan our child birth in India due to personal reasons. We are Indian Nationals myself with PR and a permanent IT job and my wife on dependant visa and home maker and expecting our baby in few months.

I heard only for child birth in Germany we can avail the Muttergeld and some tell me that we can get it starting the day the child and mother come back to Germany. Can someone please give me some feedback please?
