Hello,
we are two students of Geography at the Free University of Berlin, currently doing a research project on Indian IT-professionals working in Berlin.
We are interested, for example, in the migrants’ cultural background, how they organise their migration, why they come to work in Germany, how they experience their stay there, how that changes their habits and view of things, how they reintegrate into the Indian society and job market after their return from Germany...
For our research project we’d be interested in speaking with Indian IT-professionals currently working in Berlin and with those who have worked here but have returned to India. As we are going on an excursion to Southern India in February/March we are planning to conduct some interviews there as well. The interviews in Berlin will be held in April/May. We'll be in Southern India (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, Mumbai) between February 14th and March 31st.
