I think there is nothing positive for the green card holders.

With the new "Gesetz" you can a residence permit immediately only if you earn more than 84.000 Euro.

you don't need PR immidiately.
you can start without it but you are at least certain that you get it after 5 years

with old law after 5 years you get kick in the ass instead of PR (in mayority of cases)

We don't know the new law sofar... so friends keep cool and X your fingers until we have documents from German Govt.
