I'm a bluecard holder since January 2018
I decided to change jobs, already found a new job, got permission from auslanderbehorde and signed contract to start working with the new company.
The thing is, I will take a 3 weeks break between my current job ending date and the new job starting date. 
I'd read somewhere that if this happens I need to pay for my insurance.
I'm also interested in settling with the permanent residence permit once I've stayed here the required time
I will not apply for unemployment
Given this context, do I need to pay for my health insurance and/or pension  and social contributions during this time ? Both or them  ? Where could I find information about this ?

From the last day of your existing employer, you are allowed to use existing insurance for 4 weeks.This is in law and you can google it. Since you start after 3 weeks, you do not need to pay to the insruance company. Just ensure the paper work (financial) work is complete without any delays.
