Hi,

I am an IT professional working as a Software Design Engineer for almost 3 years now here in the Philippines. I was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, thus, I can write/speak the German language. I just want to ask if I am qualified to get a working permit in Germany. How long do you think I can land a job in Germany considering my number of years of experience is only 3 years?

I would greatly appreciate if someone can help or give me some tips or info in finding a job in Deutschland.

3 years is a relatively good starting point if you have a dgree also. lots of people here get jobs right after studies.
You said you were born in Germany? Depending on your relations/status with Germany it might be that you do not need work permit but since you are writing here....

Yep, i was born in Germany but I'm a Filipino citizen. I guess I need a working visa/permit to be able to work in Germany. Anyhow, I obtained my bachelor degree here in the Philippines.
I will be visiting my mom in Frankfurt this end of October. Do you think I can get an IT job within three months time?

If you were born in germany and your mother is a german citizen then maybe you can also apply for german citizenship.

Auch wenn beide Elternteile keine deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit besitzen, gilt:

Wenn Ihr Kind in Deutschland geboren wird, ist es automatisch mit der Geburt Deutsche oder Deutscher, wenn bestimmte Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind.

Sie oder der andere Elternteil müssen:

* sich seit mindestens acht Jahren gewöhnlich und rechtmäßig in Deutschland aufhalten und
* eine Niederlassungserlaubnis oder eine Aufenthaltserlaubnis-EU besitzen oder freizügigkeitsberechtigter Unionsbürger bzw. gleichgestellter Staatsangehöriger eines EWR-Staates (Island, Liechtenstein, Norwegen) oder freizügigkeitsberechtigter Schweizer sein.
