Hi There,

I am from India, currently in Germany on a work permit for the last 8-9 months. I am going to apply for an extension of the work permit for one more year(till end 2006). However, the validity for my indian passport expires few days
before december end.

Can you please suggest what to do. Shall I first apply for passport validity extension and then for work permit? can these be done here in Germany itself? Please advise.

You should first extend your passport first if u want to save a few Euros. Getting extension in old passport and then transferring it to the new one is little time and money consuming.
