Best way to bring family to Germany

Hi,

I have received an offer from an employer in Berlin. I understand I will need to get employment visa to enter the Germany and then apply for Blue Card.

We are planning that my wife along with one child would join me after 6-8 months.

I would like to know what would be better and easier way to bring my family to Germany?

1. We apply for visa togather while applying for employment visa
2. They join me once I get Blue Card
