Hi,

We are expecting a baby Girl in July. My wife is having EG Visa (unlimited work permit) and i have DE citizenship. Since 2 years she is in Germany and never worked here.

My question:
1. Am i allowed to take Elternzeit (As my wife is not working)
2. Which amt is responsible for Elternzeit?
3. During the Elternzeit how Health insurence works (as Employer dont pays his contribution)?
