Niederlassungserlaubnis after 8 months abroad

Hello everybody,

I have unlimited residency in Germany (Niederlassungserlaubnis), and I am living abroad now. Last time I entered was 8 months ago. I wonder what will happen if I fly to Germany now? Would border stop me from entering? Anyone have experiences on that?

I also rent a house there, so I am still registered there. Now I work in USA and I am from China.
