Hello,

Based on my personal invitation, my younger brother (a student in India) had applied for a 90D Tourist Visa to Germany at Bombay.

I have no idea why, but the Visa Officer has told him that he will be getting only a 60D visa and not 90D (he is due to collect his visa on Monday).

Is there any rule by which he can apply for a 30D extension once he is in Germany? :-)

Depends on the discretion of the ABH.
