Hello -

I received an Aufenthaltstitel in 2007 while working full time in Germany. It lists the valid to date as "unbefristet" which I understand is "unlimited". It references as Art Des Titels "Niederlassungserlaubnis Erwerbstatigkeit gestattet" and then indicates it is a 19 AufenthG authorization. I was in Germany through 2008 and then on a limited basis in 2009. I am returning on a more rregular basis again since October this year.

My questions are:
1) Does this residence permit truly extend for an unlimited period of time?
2) How long can I be outside of Germany before it becomes invalid?
3) What works does it allow me to do and what type of work am I prohibited from performing.

Any guidance would be most appreciated.
