Hi all ,

I have been reading thru most of the posts in trust7 for a long time. Since most of them were not applicable to me, i never really registered myself to reply . But today i need your guidance.

I am a student of MSc in Computer science. I am going to finish my course by the end of july'05. I have a job offer from a company. But the job offer is a contract based one, it is only for six months. The employer says he can provide me with the contract and every thing but he himself doesnt know much about the new rules.

So my question is can i get a work permit based on this Contract Based Job offer?

Once the job is finished after 6 months what will be the status of my visa?

or is this a good opportunity in terms of changing my visa status?
