Until 2000 Germany did not recognize "jus solis", so if you were born before that date it will be nearly impossible to claim citizenship on any grounds. Even if your parents are german nationals and you are not living with them in germany and you are above 16 years old.....there is no-way you can get german citizenship, since you dont fulfill the residency requirement (8 years) for citizenship.
