I was almost sure that someone might have already explained my query in this forum, but somehow I couldn't find it. Any guidance is highly appreciated.

I am a NE holder in DE and would like to know what benefits do I get if I apply for Daueraufenthal-AG. Does it really help you if you get a job in other EU nations?
If YES, then how?
If NO, then what's the use?

Conflicting responses from my friends around have left me in a confused state :-(.

You are right, this topic is discussed many times already. I think you did not type correct words in search, it is Daueraufenthalt_EG not Daueraufenthalt_AG

If you can get Daueraufenthalt_EG, it is much better than normal NE.

NE is more national type one and EU-Daueraufenhalt is flexible for EU countries.So it depend on your need. Please always search forum for more ideas. One helpful summary you find here
