Please suggest me how to apply Arbeitsgenehmigung and Arbeitserlaunnis? I heard 31.12.2004 is the last date for applying. From 01.01.2005 there is going new Immigration Law, so I am not sure what is going to be there and what not?

Please tell me how to proceed?

Hum just pick your diplomas, your pass (with valid visa), your contract and go to the Arbeitsamt the company depends on. Better do it before 31.12.2004, even if you get it later, the most important is when you made the request for.

What about the eternal loop arbeitamt/auslanderbehorde, we realy must start going to the arbeitamt?

If you want greencard, you go first to arbeitsamt.

I'm an IT specialist, my husband is a GC holder. I’m living in Germany for 3 years, I was taking care of my baby, but now I would like to start a working normal life and we are being sending from one ‘amt’ to the other one, that’s why I’m asking.

aaa, you need Arbeitsberechtigung.
You can get it but you will probably need court of law to reach it.
You should go to ABH to pick up Bericht that says that you are here 3 years.
Than you go to AA and make Antrag auf Arbeitsberechtigung. They will tell you lots of nonsence so you'll probably need to sue them.


and btw, without deutsch it is allmost impossible to achieve it.
if you do not know deutsch, take lawyer from Detlef. After 1.1. it is too late.
