Hi,

I've completed 6 months so far here in Germany. My probezeit is over now and I've a chance to negotiate and make some alterations in my work contract. Right now I'm paying 23% Lohnsteur and will be even more when I get some increment. I found in the forum that I need to get my Brutto lower by showing some tax exumptions. Is it possible that I can get the money from company in form of some tax free allowances? Is there any law about it or some limit? Is it possible to have the allowances for house rent, tel bills, visit to homeland etc. instead of showing as brutto? Can it become tax free? In this case both my company and myself will benefit from it.
