I finished my course in October and have got arbeit suche visum also.

when I applied for a job they demanded(in email) a scanned copy of "arbeiterlaubnis"..I informed them that I have "Job suche visum" and can get work permit if the company is ready to employ me..

but they want to see my "arbeiterlaubnis"...is there any way to get around this...

you should explain them that ArbErl is sicher if you get job.
it is possible that they will prefer someone who has ArbErl allready

I am still searching a job...but in the prelim stage itself they are asking ArbeitsErlaubnis and are not satisfied with the explanation that ArbEr is sure after we get the job...

If you find job, ABH could even reject your WP because there is enough germans with that qualifications.

does that mean if I get a job from the company, even then there are chances that my WP is rejected.

what if I am able to convince the company guys to prepare my document in such a manner that-- it requires skills that are difficult to find.

this job search in Germany on Job Suche Visum is becoming scary. are there any advantages of this Job Suche visum (other than residence)...

and yes firma can help you if they put profile where only you fit.

I do not see any choice there. what else can you do with job search visa but search for a job

There was an indian girl (panna28) in this forum, who was in same situation. I think she got the WP.

I know two guys who got WP when they were on "job Suche Visum", so it is possible. Having such a visa does not give you any priviliges by the way. Your only advantage compared with a foreigner applying outside of germany is the fact that you are physically in Germany and show up for the interview easily and the fact that you are holding a degree earned in Germany.
