Hi all,

A child in my family (non EU and resident in Dubai) has a health problem, he is suspected to have a very rare disease which requires a lot of effort for a correct diagnosis. His parents are willing to investigate the possibility of getting him treated in Germany.

Does anybody has any experience regarding setting up such a thing (medical treatment in a german hospital) on a short term and/or long term basis?

Any feedback is highly appreciated.

I strongly recommend to contact the Charite in Berlin. It is a very good 'Universitätsklinikum' and my wife and I go there as soon as we have some serious problems.

My uncle has been transfered by a company named Surgical Experts International. www.surgicalexperts.de
They did a greatful job and have determined specialist for my uncels problems. These company offers a patient service and they have picked him up at the airport and chauffeured him to the hospital. All was already arranged at his arrival.
