I read loads and loads of matirial about how to get D-EG and its validity etc.
And I also read that most EU Countries are issuing this. But are these countries also taking in people with D-EG from another country without much paperwork?
And I have not come across a single post that says that someone with Daueraufenthalt-EG actually went from Germany to work for ex. Netherlands, or France or Belgium etc. or vice versa.
Has anyone had this experience or heard someone doing this?
Or
Can someone please tell which EU countries are allowing third country nationals with EU-Permanent resident permits(D-EGs) to work and reside without much hassle and paperwork?

Good question, I haven't heard any stories either wether positive or negative.

It would be interesting to know if anyone had experience in using D-EG in other EU countries to live and work.

I am also interested in the current prerequisites for D-EG in NRW. Are authorities in NRW or elsewhere currently asking for the orientation course or integration course as a prerequisite for D-EG for people who came to Germany before 2005?

A friend of mine works with German D-EG in Sweden..

Do you know does your friend hold only D-EG now or with D-EG he enetered Sweden and then got Swedish workpermit.

As far as I know.. he got a Swedish permit based on D-EG and D-EG is still valid and sticked on his passport..

He explicitly told me that German D-EG was recognized by Swedish Authorities..
