Hey

I would like to get some information to proceed with my Niederlassungserlaubnis in Essen. i am wondering whether anyone got a Niederlassungserlaubnis from Essen. Last time when i was in ausländerbehörde essen i have asked about Niederlassungserlaubnis while extending my visa, she told me that i should pay 60 months RV. Is that so?

My time line in Germany

1. Master 10.2005 to 9.2007

2. wissenschaftlicher mitarbeiter (§18) since 06.2008 and looking forward to finish my PhD by end of this year.

my questions are.

1. Am i eligible to apply Niederlassungserlaubnis?

2. What is EBH**?

I request if anybody in this forum has gone through similar situation, please share their experience
