Hi !
Does anybody know if there is there any possibility to get Police clearance certificate (from Germany)in English or do I need to translate it using lawyer service. Any idea how much it costs !

AFAIK you can't get an official document from an govt office in the language other than the national language, meaning, you won't be able to get it in English.

Only solution as you mentionned it to take it and bring it to a translation office, it shouldn't cost you more than 15 euros.

also get it attested(or 'notary'fied) which will cost u more but is more valid.

Hi,
Normaly you have to send orignal police certificate along with authorised translation(i did from my conslate € 15) to concerned person,then notor attestation is not needed.Any way notor cost € 10 for one document,when needed.

And, also there is the so-called Apostil - i have seen some desctiptions about it in our embasy. It's something like large stamp over the translated document, as I know...

The police certificate will take 2 working weeks time to reach you by post and it cost around 13€. You can apply that from your local Rathaus
