Exemption from German Pension contribution upon subscription to Indian NPS

Hello friends,

This is a question concerning pension system, but I still posted under Visas not finding the right section to do so.

Recently the National Pension System was launched in India and NRIs are eligible to subscribe to it (PIOs/OCIs are not elibigle). One simply needs an NRE/NRO account. The guidelines are found in this link:
https://www.indianembassy.de/pdf/NPS_for_NRIs.pdf

Now as an NRIs and an Indian citizen, I intend to return to India for good in a few years. Is there any Germany regulation that if one is already contributing to the pension system in another country, then he/she is exempt from contributing to the German system? Or is there a way to make a request of this type? Consider also that India and Germany have signed the double taxation avoidance treaty, if that helps in any way.
