Today I got my visa extension with the following information on the stamp.

Art des Titels: Aufenthaltserlaubnis
Anmerkung: §18 AufenthG

In the additionalsheet, the following text.
Beschäftigung jeder Art gestattet. Selbständige Tätigkeit nur mir Genehmigung der Ausländerbehörde gestattet.

1) Is it BE visa?
2) My earlier visa dependent on my company had the same class §18. Now also i have the same. Does this § class changes for BE?

1. Yes, it is BE visa
2. § class does not change for BE, it remains § 18.

I tried to get the same explanation from Beamter as such § classes are quite complicated. Before I start asking (in german only) he told me can't you read what's written there.

I don't understand why most of the beamters are unfriendly.

Sorry but the "Beamter" has right, as long as foreigners continue like this, "Beamter"s will never give up being unfriendly. If we give them the chance of being unfriendly, they will be unfriendly. "Beamter"s have absolutely no reasons to speak "brit" language to anyone, especially to foreigners.

If you are able to get a BE, it is expected you understand german language a bit

what are you doing with all the letters coming from finanzamt, post, electricity, water bills etc. ?

how do you read/understand your rental contract for your flat ?

what happens when you go to supermarket, it is not always in english there....

if you just enter the text to babelfish, even you get the meaning of it...
