Hello Everybody ,

Today I was in ABH to upgrade my status from NE to NE Daueraufenthalt-EG, I was holding NE ($9) , officer put a new sticker with biometric photo on my passport.
The whole text remains same as in NE with only change was in Anmerkungen, it states $9a instead of old $9.

Also he charged me 85 Euro for this. Is it normal as I had already paid 85 Euro for NE & now only upgraded it to NE-EG.

Can anybody throw a light on this, as I feel the charge for up gradation is high?

Any experiences?

did you need to fillup some form and bring any document? or you just went with passport and asked for DE?

I filled application form & i had to submit salary slips of last 3 months & 85 Euro.

I had taken prior appointment with beamter.
