Niederlassungserlaubnis or Daueraufenthalt-EG

I am living in Germany and have Niederlassungserlaubnis. I am planning to start working as a Freelancer (Freiberufler).
I have an 3 months offer from a company in Poland to work for their customer in Germany.

I will be living in Germany and working at office in Germany but will be invoicing the company in Poland.
I have contanted Ausländerbehörde in this case but got contradicting replies, one Person said I need Daueraufenthalt-EG other say its ok and I can work as i have Niederlassungserlaubnis.

Can I work under Niederlassungserlaubnis or do in need Daueraufenthalt-EG in this case? any reference to the law will be useful.
