Hello,

I am a masters student here in germany and got married in may. My wife got admission in masters in germany and applied for student visa at the embassy which she just received today. When she applied for a visa at the embassy i got a job offer after about two weeks and my company applied for a blue card which has been now processed and i will get my electronic card within few weeks. now my wife is coming on her student visa to germany tomorrow.

My question is whether it is possible to apply for residence permit as a spouse since i already have a blue card now? And is she allowed to continue her studies on spouse visa? I know that now the spouse visa for a blue card holder is allowed to work without any restriction.
