Hello,

I have no ideea about the laws and I have the following problem: I've been working in Germany for more than 3 years and my Aufenthalterlaubnis is valid until the end of the year. If I lose (or quit) my job the Aufenthalterlaubnis(or the visa) remains valid?
I understand that I can have an unlimited work permit but for that I assume that I must find a new job.
If I don't want to look for a job right away and I want to relax for a period (say 6 months or 1 year) can I stay in Germany?
