Please help me with the following questions:

a. What is better Birth Certificate (BC) for Einbuergerung? BC from a local Indian authorities (Thasildar) or from the Indian consulate?

b. Is there a fixed BC format that is required/recommended?

c. I have a Birth Certificate from Dec 2008 (Indian local authority issued). Would this be acceptable for applying to Einbuergrung now?

Danke im Voraus!

If you got already one, certified German translation is enough

Hi

Make sure your birth certificate clearly mentions your First Name and Last Name. If not then apply for a letter from your consulate. Also need german certified translation.
I have recently faced this issue while applying for Einbuergerung.
