Good Day.
I am new to this forum. I have got a job opportunity in Germany and i received my work contract also .
Joining date september 10 2018.
Visa appointment slot in chennai consulate
For me August 6 , 8.50 am (national visa application).
For my wife on same day but 9.50 am slot (Family reunion visa).

Question :
If we both apply together on same day , Does my workpermit visa will get delayed due to family reunion visa?  because i need to get my visa within 4 weeks.

I heard , My friends got visa in 2 weeks ,those who applied for workpermit visa alone .
Some of my friends family reunion visa is stamped in 3 months (this case, husband alreadyy working in Germany)

You suggestions or experiences are appreciated.

Hi,
apply together! It will not delay your work permit. If you apply for the family reunion when you are already in Germany, it is much more complicated and can last very long.
