Does any of you have try the tax refund software?
I saw a lot of offers in amazon for examples.

I have a tax consultant as i have said before, but we are thinking about to do it ourselfes for next year.

Please share your experience if you have any.

I am using "Wiso Sparbuch" and I am very satisfied with it.

is that straigh forward?
I mean clear explanation in normal german or a beamter german?

Once I got a letter from tax office, I couldn't understand, I have to ask 3 germans that in the end I understood.

Used by many. Very easy to use, and has help for fields. But its all in German.

I have tried the elster formular.
I think that is normal electronic form without any explanation in.

What is the difference between the wieso Sparbuch and the elster formular?

If you cant read/understand German(advanced level), "Wiso Sparbuch" would not be the correct choice for you.

There is a book coming with the software which explains how to get more money from the state using some tips & tricks. (what can be claimed, what can not, what are the pre-conditions etc..)

Software has the needed forms where you can fill in your information.(Forms have their own interface with explanations) After you are done, software will prepare the filled out form which you can just print and give to Finanzamt.(including the cover letter and explanation pages which can be delivered to Finanzamt). All these and explanations are in German.
