My name is Murali. I need help to solve my present situation. Please suggest me what can be done to get my visa extended and to stay in Germany legally.

Here is the explanation of my situation:

I am working from Feb 2004. I got five years VISA but with companies name on it. this VISA is valid only when i work in that company.

Now i got a contract termination letter from my Company. My contract will be terminated by the end of January. So my visa is also not valid after the January 31st.

I worked exactly for 12 months.

Now my question is:
Whether i can get Arbeitslosgeld and stay in Germany or
should i go back to my home country.

you have to go to ABH and get job search visa for 3-6 months and than you'll receive ALG and have chance to find another job.
if you do not find it you will probably have to go.
