I am IT professional and having 7 years of experience (Asian citizen), recently got a job contract from German employer which is meeting all wages related guidelines. Now do my employer need to apply for ZAV approval? If yes, then what all documents should I provide to my german employer which are required for ZAV approval, so that my employer send them to ZAV along with a job contract provided by the company.

About the ZAV , I read that ZAV responded to your employer that pre-approval is not needed. A similiar thing happened with my employer as well. Can you tell me how you did you proceed with the ZAV pre-approval process?

As per my knowledge on this, if you come under blue card category (STEM), then you can directly apply visa through embassy without ZAV letter,but if you want to process your visa really fast, go for ZAV(Agentur Fur Arbeit) approval and attach that approval letter along with other documents while submitting documents to the embassy.

They will explain you the process how your employer should apply for ZAV approval and what all documents are required.
