Dear Members,
I need an important information regarding the work permit when switching a job. I am working in a company in Nürnberg since 2006 january. Now I want to switch to another company here. I heard I should re apply for a new work permit. Is there a greater risk? As I want to give my resignation by end of january and want to join the new one in April.
The prospective company is favourable for doing anything for workpermit.

Kindly advice,if I need to wait for work permit and then give the resignation?

Hi, Yes you have to apply again for work permit and you have to wait around 4 weeks to get permission, same procedure as for your first work permit. But as you said "The prospective company is favourable for doing anything for work permit", then go ahead. Good luck.
