Here I have a question, I have recently been to the Ausländeramt for my NE and the lady has produced me with the checklist and I have submitted the same and then she told me that there should be a criminal verification against my applicataion therefore, I must wait until I revieve that and finally I have cleared that verification and the lady told me to bring only recent payslip, passport and 135Euros since all other documents I have submitted last month but during entire communication she did not mention me to bring B1 certificate though I speak good german and I dont have any B1 though.

Now my point is that do we definetly need to submit B1 certificate?
If the officer thinks my German is good enough then she can forward my application?
Is it in the hands of Visa Officer to decide our Language skills?

B1 certificate is required when you have Bluecard and applying for NE.

Thank you for your quick reply, yes I have a blue card and I also speak good german but I am without the B1 Certificat. And the Lady doesnt mention me to bring B1 certificate and I wonder if I still get my NE without B1 when I can manage to speak good German.

B1 is not required to get NE when you have Blue card and paid social security taxes for 33 months .
