After checking few thread , seems uniqe case. May be some one has any expereince or information.

A friend of mine, studying here got married 4 years ago and brought his wife almost 2 n half years ago in Germany. They have boy ( 1 year) and his wife  is pregnant.  All three are not citizen and does not have NE.
For some unavoidable circumstances they do not want to live together. What will be the consequnces in case of divorce ?  As wife has dependant visa, what will be her status after divorce. The divorce period of one year has to be followed here or one can present  Divorce decision of court back from his country to un-register both as married couple ?
The guy wll be finishing his studies in 6 months and will be going back. His wife is studying here as well. and also in last semester but she is on dependant visa. Can she change here visa to student visa ? or what will be happening when they apply for divorce.

If she meets the criteria for a study permit, she can change her permit. Keep in mind that she'll need to prove that she has the financial resources to live here (and with kids this amount is much higher than for a single student).
