In case u want to apply for German Citizenship then you should go for DTZ. If you want to study in the University then go for Zertifikat Deutsch. Authorities accept both but DTZ is lighter compared to Zertificat Deutsch.A DTZ exam lasts for 90 mins but Zertificat Deutsch is for about 3 hrs.

Do you find out if you at least passed or get an idea of your score before you receive the certificate? or do you have to wait at least 7 weeks, before you even know that you passed. Thanks. niksasi
