Does anyone of you have the contact email id for the Foriegn office in Bonn? I am seeking it for status questions related to spouse visa. (The local Auslaenderamt sucks!)

Yes, you are right DVD. The applications are done in the local office, but as far as I understand, they first arrive to a central location in Bonn and later it goes to the local ABH.

Look x5 (which is by the way not even near ML)
Lots of AE or NE are issued on the same day when you get there. So nothing is sent to Bonn. Otherwise Bonn would be stucked with paper work. ABH is quite independant in making decisions and they only have to take law into account.

What you can do if you want some help from oben is: You can send a letter to BMI (Ministerium) because BMI is Schef from ABH. When you get Antwort from BMI you can show it at ABH ans they will probably consider it but they are not obliged to.
That would be quite slow way. Much better is to read some law and point it out to ABH. I did it quite often and it allways worked.

I think you are mistaking the process of spouse visa with BE or NE. What X5 says is right regarding the spouse visa. The central office is in Bonn and from there is the documents sent to the respective embassies.

I thought spouse visa is issued in home country (in my case).

The embassies in home country and Auslanderamt dont talk to each other directly. All the required documents goes through this centralised department in Bonn.

OK, but that still can not change the fact that car on my picture looks better than X5 on his picture.

Auto on picture is new Mercedes X class. It is not produced jet, but good thing is it should consume only ~8 liter benzin because it is smaller.

BTW X5 and ML I would gladly change for new KIA Sportage. It looks great and needs only 8 liter Benzin, Autobahn only 6,5!!!
