Dear All,

Next week, I am going to get BürgerUrkunde. My appointment at the AüsländerBehörde lasts for 2 hours.
So I am just wondering what they do for 2 hours.
Can anyone share your experience of what exactly happens at the AüsländerBehörde ?
Please let me know the documents that I should carry to the appointment.

Today i got my citizenship certificate. I will share my own experience.

Auslanderbehorde sends us a letter having information about the appointment and other document to state if something like family status or job etc has been changed or not.
Today i went 45 minutes before the appointment as per the information provided by the auslanderbehorde.

I have submitted my indian passport and aftenhalts erlaubnis to the officer. And also handovered the document stating that nothing has changed after i have submitted my naturalization application.
My passport and german citizenship info will be sent to indian embassy berlin.

Waited for sometime and then went to another big conference room.

Here you will be given some thing to drink and one lady briefs so much information. After that the same officer has given citizenship certificate to around 20 ppl along with the german laws small book and a rose flower. 

Finally congratulated everyone and thats it. 
The whole process took around 90 minutes.
