It reminded me the thread you started, "Simplified Process for Highly Qualified Labour" ( http://trust7.com/en/forums/integration/simplified_process_for_highly_qualified_labour ). As you all remember, the politicians did not push this law change last year.

It seems that private entertainment wants to reduce this limit because work costs in Germany are high, and they want to reduce their work costs by hiring foreign people with reduced salaries thru an limited residence permit.

We will see how we will be affected.
