wanted to clarify regarding Travel while I was issued a new passport

i have NE and recently got a new passport . I need to transfer my residence permit to new passport . I need to travel next week .

heard now electronic card visa is issued and it might take 4 weeks .

can I travel with my old passport visa along with new passport ?

or

will they issue me a temporary visa while I apply for eTA

You can of course travel without any new documents if your old passport’s expiry date is more than 6 months. If it’s less than 6 months, you may ask for paper permit until your card comes.
