Hi everyone,

has anyone heard of a "statsangehörigkeitsausweis".

My case:

I am married to a german and have applied for citizenship. I was told that all my paperwork was in order and that i would get it in a couple of months.

then i got a better job offer and moved out of NRW to BW and also my file was moved. here in BW they say that since i have 6 months probation in the new job, they cannot give me citizenship till that is over.

Now out of the blue they require that i submit a statsangehörigkeitsausweis of my wife. She doesnt have one, Isnt a passport proof enough of my wifes citizenship??

Im confused as to the new development. any help and advice is welcome.
