Hi All,

I have NE. But planning to take "Daueraufenthalt EG". I am just wondering ..

Is it possible to work in Swiss with D-EG (I guess it is not!!) or Is it good idea to keep the main residence in Germany somewhere on the border and work in Swiss? If yes, Could you guys please share the procedures involved?

I know many Germans do this. But they don't need worry coming back to Germany in case they loose their interest (or job).

NE-EG is not for Swiss, but it could be that your NE-EG stays valid if you are in Swiss. You could ask ABH about that.
