I am Rakesh Gaonkar and I am working as Labor leasing employee for an German company . Currently I hold a blue card to work in Germany from last oct 2014. But I am working in Germany since Sept 2013 on a normal visa. Recently in October 2014 my visa got converted to blue card.

I wanted to know the possibility of working as freelancer, and what are the legal requirements. Is it possible to do with my current visa status, since I am non European.

I have couple of companies ready to take me as freelancer.

I would like to consult your guys, for the procedure and understanding the German laws to start as freelancer.

I have personally researched about it on different forum, but the
information is not clear and I would like to have a clarity on it, the
possibility of doing freelance in Germany, and has anyone done it before from this community.

Please let me know if anyone of you have done this before or know some who can help like a lawyer specialised in German labor law or even a account consultant, I don't mind taking paid professional help.
