Hello I got married in March2012
My wife applied for family reunion visa on 1st week of April 2012 from German Embassy Chennai, India. She recieved her passport back after 5 days of application. Since then there is no notification regarding the visa status. I enquired it through my company's personnel department who is responsible for the Immigration issues. The answer from them is "the application is already in Germany and its with Stadtamt and it has to be forwarded to the aliens office. This is the same status since the first week of May. Could anyone suggest me what to be done to make my application move faster.

On the other hand one of my Indian colleague also applied for his spouse Visa, in the mid of May, and his wife already have approval letter in Hand.

Why and how could that delay happened? Plz reply
