Hi,

I had applied for Work Permit on first week of August 2013.
I received approval call from Embassy in early Second Week of September 2013.
I Submitted my Passport for stamping on 13th Sep 2013.
But still now I did not receive my passport back(30th Sep 2013).
Does any body have any idea Why the Embassy keeps my passport on hold after approval of Visa?
Is it expected?

Just call them. May be Visa has been stamped on your passport and you got to collect it from Embassy. I do not know how it works now but back in 2004, I used to submit passport in the embassy and they would tell me to collect it in 2 days (for business, visit and study visa)

Or may be they have sent by post and can give you a tracking number. 15 days for keeping passport is long time. But I do not think that they want to reconsider now whether to stamp visa or not when they have already approved it.
