Has anybody got the NE or applied for based on §19 in Hessen ??
If yes , what is the waiting period for the so called "Security Check" in Hessen ?

Yes. I am close to Darmstadt.

I was told that it would take 6 months but got it after 4.5 months.

Be patient. Nothing much to do after filling the form.

Have you considered HSMP Scheme of UK if you qualify under 19?.

I applied two months ago through VPMK based on §19 . But I feel that they cannot influnence this waiting period for the Security Check .

6 months or more for What ??? With all of this IT technology and Governement and international Databases some people are still using old fashioned methods for verifying peoples records !!
It is only a way of irritating people and keeping them away from applying to PR .

Unfortunatelly , It is too late for me , as being married , to apply to UK . Instead I will fight for my rights here . I paid a lot of taxes and pension .

I will fight also for the Citizenship , although with the CDU comming , it is going to be tougher to get it .

Facts are bitter especially in this country .

I also belong to Darmstadt Auslaenderbehoerde. It took about 4 months to get an answer back regarding the security check. I must admit despite the long waiting period it went very smooth, I was even communicating in English with them.

Be patient and you will get it sooner or later.

It is really surprising to see Hessen has the worst waiting time. Howcome in the website of Frankfurt's ABH, it is metioned that it will take only 3 -4 weeks. In bayern, it just took 5 weeks!! I cannot understand this logic anymore!!

You are right . What is the logic .
What is mentioned on the website as you mentioned could be pure Marketing .

I wish some of the beamters responsible for these checks in Hessen gives a bit of details on why it is taking longer to proccess our applications .

maybe they slow down the procedures before elections in fall 2005... Nobody can figure out what can happen after the elections. We are observing a "strange" year...
