Dear all,

I am currently working as an engineer in Frankfurt area since 2.5 years. However receently I have learned that the group that I am working in is going to be closed. Therefore I am going to be jobless in a month or so (Although it is not certain yet). And I would like to apply for Arbeitslosengeld. My status is as follows:

• Was working full time since 2.5 year on an unlimited work contract.
• my residence permit expires on November 2013. (Would hopefully be enough to find a new job)
• And I changed the type of my residence permit yesterday according to suggestions in the forum. Previously it was company dependent. Currently it says ''Beschaeftigung jeglicher art erlaubt".

My Question is:
I believe I fullfill the requirements of Arbeitslosengeld. Is there anything that I need to be specifically careful about when they when they terminate my contract? I mean what should (or should not) be written on the termination notice so that I can receive the  Arbeitslosengeld without any problem?
