Dear All,

I am workin in Berlin, so my wife has applied for Germany spouse visa from Chennai consulate.
Meanwhile she has got a work offer in Denmark, and based on that she has aslo applied for work permit to Denmark.

Does anyone have an idea how the above situation will be handled

1) Will she get both the Germany spouse visa and the denmark work permit.

Kindly share me your ideas/experience on the above.

Hi Gopi,

These are special situations for which there are no rules or laws which can answer your question. It depends on how the German and Danish immigration official looks at your case. You should have strong grounds to convince them you need both. Something like, if you are living close to Danish border in Germany and your wife needs to work  in Denmark close to German border.

I would suggest wait for the German consulate to issue spouse visa for your wife and then when your wife travels to Berlin, she could apply for Danish residence permit in Berlin.
